About Dr. Meagan Kapostasy, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN

Dr. Meagan Kapostasy is a practicing physical therapist in Seattle who has been treating patients for 14 years. She attended the University of Scranton receiving a BA in Biology with a Minor in Philosophy while also running on the Cross Country team. Her interest in improving stride efficiency in running led her to pursuit a post graduate degree in physical therapy at Arcadia University in 2011.

Dr. Kapostasy started her physical therapy career working with Neurological patients where she focused on helping people find confidence in moving their body. Her passion to improve patient’s body control and her athletic focus outside of work drove Dr. Kapostasy to focus on orthopedic patients. Practicing in the orthopedic field of physical therapy allows her to delve deeper into the fine detail of joint and muscle control, while layering on the importance of the nervous system.

Dr. Kapostasy loves to apply her orthopedic knowledge to help pelvic health patients maintain activity while pregnant and return to a high level of activity post-partum. In the same vein she loves helping people post surgery (that include prostatectomies, gender affirming surgeries, and hysterectomies) return to their previous level of activity.
